"I love my 1092 Deluxe Induction -' it looks great and the performance is fantastic. It's incredibly quick and pleasurable to use. It's energy efficient, too, because it only heats the pan not the cooker, using a fraction of the heat of a conventional oven. Best of all, it's incredibly easy to clean - food doesn't get baked on, so you can always just wipe it clean with a damp cloth."

"You can use the smooth hob to plate up your food, which is ideal in a small kitchen. This works because as soon as you've stopped cooking the surface is cool as the induction technology heats the pan not the cooker."

"The extra large middle ring is so useful, really reaching the whole base of a big frying pan with an even heat. With these ovens the temperature is so stable - so you know exactly where you are whether you're baking or roasting."

"I love the robust, practical rotary knobs - they're way better than touch-sensitive varieties, which are a total faff as soon as your hands are at all greasy or wet as they will be when you're cooking.

The two ovens are essential for any serious entertaining. Think of Christmas - or any Sunday roast -turkey in one oven, veggies, sausages and stuffing in the other. And I use the warming drawer every day to heat up my plates."

"The roll-out grill is one of my favourite features. It's so well engineered. I make a great tortilla for the family in a big 12-inch non-stick frying pan, full of onion, pepper, garlic, courgette, aubergine (peeled), mushrooms and cooked tatties and a load of fresh herbs. I cook it on the big middle ring of my 1092 induction hob which reaches the whole base of the pan evenly. Then I finish it off with a sprinkling of cheddar and I slide the whole pan into the grill section (take the grill pan out first) under a hot preheated grill for about 3 minutes where it turns the tortilla beautifully golden. The trick then, is to bring the pan out and leave it to rest for 5 minutes before slicing the tortilla into wedges and serving with a big green salad. Yum."
